Why its one of the worlds most powerful incentive destinations
The centrepiece, of course, is the planet’s mightiest waterfall, the Victoria Falls – now in its 150 Millionth fantastic Year! Nature’s Masterpiece is hugely awe-inspiring and certainly a must-see-in-your-lifetime phenomenon, but the allure of this destination has so many other extraordinary dimensions that make it truly a unique and authentic adventure, safari and wilderness eco-experience.
The amazing fact is that this “destination” actually encompasses three countries in close proximity and each offering astonishing delights to incentive groups. The famous 100-year-old bridge spanning the legendary Zambezi River means one can stroll across from Zimbabwe to Zambia (Livingstone) to enjoy elements from both sides.
And just 80km away on a good tar road, or a short hop by charter flight, is the country of Botswana and one of the greatest wildlife havens on earth – Chobe National Park. This vast 12,000 sq km eco-wonderland is home to the largest elephant herds anywhere (one can see hundreds on a drive or cruise) and 112 mammal species.
Not hard to imagine then that three nights at Victoria Falls and two nights at Chobe Botswana make up a remarkable incentive programme. Daily flights (1.5 hours) from Johannesburg to Livingstone (Zambia), Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and Kasane (Chobe, Botswana) add to the power of the destination.
