The incentive market may be facing turbulent times because of the financial crisis, but visionary companies are still seeking extraordinary solutions. Thus Green Route has created a low-cost, high-impact camping incentive at Victoria Falls, specifically designed for young, spirited and adventurous sales teams.
Their campsite, The Adventure Village, is located just 4km upstream from Victoria Falls near the banks of the legendary Zambezi River and in a beautifully lawned area under the shade of large trees.
Here their accommodation would be in a cluster of 3m x 3m bow tents built on raised platforms, each with a small deck in front. Each tent is equipped with two beds, electric light and fan and the village can accommodate 48 people in 24 tents.
This camp caters for the overland or self-drive market and has spotlessly clean ablution facilities as well as barbeque facilities. There is also a central thatched dining and river deck complex with spectacular views of the river and two swimming pools. There’s an open bar restaurant area and travel centre.
Perhaps these young teams can be attached to a local mentor for their time at the Falls, such as the noted solo explorer Paul Connolly who would inspire them quite magnificently. Their Adventure Village may be used as the centre stage to set out on their many and varied adventures, such as rafting, canoeing, bunji jumping, gorge swings, walking with lions, game drives, cultural visits to villages, elephant back rides, abseiling, micro lighting and more.
This accommodation costs US$30 pps, bed & breakfast for 2010
