Originally from the bustling city of Johannesburg and after 3 more years of city living in London, I decided to move to the very beautiful and chilled out world that Cape Town offers. I am fortunate enough to have done a fair share of travelling in my life and after 3 years of living in Cape Town, I would immediately confess that Cape Town is still my favourite. Travel, socialising and organising are easily three of my favourite pastimes which will without a doubt explain why I have been in the events industry for the past 5 ½ years. I have been with Green Route for 2 years now and will still admit that the best part of my day is meeting and working with friendly, passionate people from every corner of the world.

I was born and raised in Argentina until my family and I immigrated to Johannesburg in 1986, when I was 10 years old. I grew up in Johannesburg where I finished high school and obtained a translator’s certificate from the Supreme Court of South Africa. Some years later I decided to move to Cape Town where I have resided for the last 10 years. I am passionate about travelling so it comes as no surprise that I have been involved in the tourism industry in different capacities for the last 5 years. I have been part of the Green Route team for over 2 years. This has been a great opportunity for me and I have grown both professionally and personally. My passion extends to the love of music, swimming, movies, meditation and Pilates to name but a few of the things that make my life fulfilling.

Fikiswa Zali
Finance Assistant

My Name is Fikiswa Zali, I was born and raised in Stutterheim, Eastern Cape Province. I am currently the Accounts Assistant at Green Route. I grew up with a passion for accounting and travel industry.No doubt I have enjoyed being able to grow professionally within the company. It has kept me challenged and happy. I have learned so much along the way and my growth has given me a perspective on how the organization works and has helped me understand how Green Route does business. I have never met a manager at Green Route that hasn't promoted growth within the company. It's not just something they talk about it's something they do. Green Route believes in the people they cultivate and I am proud to be one of them.

Antoinette Du Preez
Account Manager

Born and bred in Bellville and the only Afrikaans girl on the team. My heart belongs to travel and experiencing different cultures. I have travelled extensively in Europe, Canada and the States and while teaching English in South Korea, I explored Japan, Thailand and China. I used to be a Western Province gymnast and I graduated with a drama degree at Stellenbosch University, but I have since found my place in the tourism industry.

I aim to always be enthusiastic about anything and everything that Green route throws my way. I love a challenge! The Green Route team made me an official team player in November 2010 and I can honestly say I've enjoyed every minute. It's a great privilege for me to be a part of the growing tourism industry in our beautiful country and the gorgeous undiscovered continent that is Africa.

Jessica Ilondo
Receptionist

Originally I am from the Congo (DRC) but I moved to South Africa, or more precisely Johannesburg, to further my studies. I am French speaking. My passion for tourism was born thanks to my big sister; she was behind my decision to embark on this path. Since I could not see myself doing anything else, I completed my diploma at the University of Johannesburg in Travel and Tourism. I am still at the beginning of my career and I intend to learn more. I recently relocated to the mother city - Cape Town after Green Route offered me a position. Since I started with Green Route I have already learned a lot and I know that the best is yet to come! Something my colleagues probably don't know, but I crave Fumbwa, my home town delicacy!

I was born and raised in Eastern Cape , East London. I moved to Cape Town a few years back to study and graduated with a Tourism Management Diploma from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Cape Town and the Tourism industry bug got to me and I just could not imagine living in another city. My secret passion is going to movies on my own and deep down I know I am a pop idol in the making.

I love life, enjoy travelling and interacting with different people. I am passionate about the tourism industry and my ultimate goal is to acquire as much knowledge as I can, and give back to my community especially to the youth. I believe that the tourism industry still has a lot of potential for growth in our country, as there are still many gems to be discovered and many more people can benefit from this.

I was born in Paris but lived in various towns in France: Marseille, Lyon and of course Brittany….I can't live without salted butter! As I child I was always on the move, so it was only natural that I would choose a career in travel. As people are my second passion, my job was easily found! After completing my international degree I started working in incentives agencies then the hotel industry for 6 years. After one year in the Middle East, I decided my next new challenge should be the African continent. You may ask why I settled in South Africa? Have you ever seen whales leaping out the water, amazing sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean and chatting with smiling people in the middle of the street all in one day? Green route company has the same qualities as this country: different people, different cultures, different life experience but one Leitmotiv: working together for the best result….definitely my way!"
